Samiran Gupta, Head of India, ICANN spoke on the topic ‘Meeting the Digital India Challenge’. With the recent launch of the program Digital India by the Government of India, there is a deliberate steer towards the digital world over the years to come. Session two in the Domains agenda was taken by Biswapriya Bhattacharjee, Group Business Director at IMRB International. In his talk titled ‘Pockets of Potential – Building Online Presence for MSME’, Mr. Bhattacharjee shared how domains still remain the dominant route for businesses online but at the same time, how social media is beginning to play a key role in small and micro businesses:
